The Local Mart Game
Okay, new game to keep me motivated and my energy clean when I arrive in my next location — possibly Kyrgyzstan. Let’s see how quickly I can work a room and find a new local mart I can banter with, because I’m going to miss this one in Siem Reap.
Tonight I told the girls, “Okay, you can pay for me this time.” The poor girl looked shocked — then I said, “Just kidding.”
It’s a social game now. Every time I set foot in that store, I’m playing the game: what will I do next? But I’m leaving, so it’s time to find a new game.
